Finally Marta arrived in Kiev
On October 9, 2023, the brave mouse Marta arrived in Ukraine, the city of Kyiv.
She was greeted by two wonderful cats Dima and Khurma (persimmon).
Dima is an adult, intelligent cat who came into our house from the street. And whats often the case with cats, she chose her own person, jumping into her arms on the street and began to purr. Now she lives in warmth and comfort.
She is pampered, loved and taken care of.
Khurma entered the house in April 2022. At that time on start of wartime, many animals were left without their people who had to escape, and Dima and the owner decided that they were obliged to help at least one animal and give it a home.
Since then, Khurma has been living with Dima, misbehaving, dropping flowerpots, running around at night and not letting anyone get bored.
The cats were very happy about Mart's visit. They purred their stories and cat fairy tales to her.
But Marta did not sit idle: she acted as creative director and main inspiration for Jesper's new calendar, came up with ideas, supervised the work of the designer, selected color solutions and photographs for the Jesperpus Calendar 2024.
Marta also enjoyed visiting the central square of the city - Maidan Nezalezhnosti, and rode bicycles in the evening Kyiv.
She spent a wonderful time in Shevchenko Park, admired the Red University (that's what one of the buildings of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is called), visited an open chess court and spent several playing sessions with the masters.
And no matter how much we would like Marta to stay longer, this brave traveler packs her bags again and hits the road.
Thanks Marta!
We had fun!
