Pangur Ban (P.B.)

This is the beloved princess in this house. Pangur Ban was the name of a real and famous cat who lived in Ireland in the 8th century. P.B. jumped into my arms at the Humane Society and adopted me when she was 7 months old. She had been found on the street in a neighboring town. We took her home 2 days later only one hour before she was to be euthanized. She was sick and we had to care for her. She has been a hero for us. She cared for my husband like a nurse all of the time he was sick with cancer. When we had to be away from home for his treatment for 4 months she stayed alone with only a caretaker every other day. During that time she lived through a hurricane. And since his passing 5 years ago she has never left my side. I have said many times that she must be Jesperpus' mother they look so much alike. For the moment she is sick, but I am caring for her like mor would and we hope to get her better soon. Thank you for the opportunity to share her with you. Stor klem til dere alle.
