Tour in Vienna
When Marta Mus and Priscilla Presley visit the same art exhibition, it's big!
And, when you live with a clever artist, the experiences will of course also bear the stamp of that. On a daily basis, there is work in the artist collective together with colleagues of Tanya.
But Vienna is a city with a lot of art and culture, both for the eye and the ear. Who hasn't heard of all the classical music from Vienna, especially at the New Year's concert. Marta Mus has enjoyed that concert for many years, from the bookshelf she decorated the living room at Jesperpus and Kasper's home.
But then she was always packed up a few days later, but not 2 years ago, when she demanded to go out into the world. And imagine that after a journey of almost a year and a half, she has ended up in the city from which she heard all that music.
Today's main goal is a famous exhibition, but there are also many experiences on the way there.
Street Art
In the center of the city there are and many sculptures, it always attracts Tanya. And not least Marta was satisfied when she got to pose standing on top of some rabbits.
Simply someone who is set up to decorate - it's called street art, Tanya told her.
But there are more animals sculptures there, in different areas, most of which you can sit on!
For example on
The Goose Girl Fountain
So, this sculpture is not made to be sat on, but for a little mouse it will do just fine!
Set up in 1865 by Anton Paul Wagner, it shows a girl who guards and leads her geese to the forest.
Imagine if there could be one like this in the Tigerforest at home……. with water for all the animals there….
The high point of the day is approaching, and on the way there we pass
Art History Museum
A large and beautiful building that must be looked at, admired and, not least, photographed!
And since we just mentioned music,
The Mozart Monument
is at the top of the list for anyone visiting Vienna.
It was carefully studied, from all sides, even though Marta Mus felt very small compared to the great composer.
Marta climbed all around the statue, in every nook and cranny, and Mozart has never been visited by a mouse from Norway, so he must have appreciated it.
Even the pigeons on the sculpture were large, but they were also kind, and Marta sat safely between their beaks.
However, some people had not been so kind, because on the back of the sculpture, someone had written "What if we kissed behind the Mozart statue", with a red marker.
Not nice, yes, but probably many who then followed the call, so maybe it had a bit of a good effect as well.
Marta didn't!
But -
Albertina Gallery - that is today's highlight and goal!
When a celebrity, like Priscilla Presley, in addition to Marta, has visited an exhibition there, then you realize that it is really big and famous art.
And it was the Gottfried Helnwein exhibition that Tanya had been looking forward to so much. A world-renowned artist from Austria and the exhibition is his 75-year anniversary.
For those who want to know more, HERE is an interview with the artist that Albertina Gallery has made in connection with the exhibition.

But for Marta it was the first time she got to see a famous work of art of a mouse - imagine that! By far her biggest art experience to date is on her trip around the world.
Now Priscilla had gone home, so she didn't get the honor of greeting Marta Mus from Tigerskogen.
But Marta and Tanya spent the rest of the day experiencing all the art at the exhibition.

Hope you are satisfied with the trip, it was Marta anyway, a bit tired after all the experiences.
And please enjoy all photos!
But just wait - Tanya had one more surprise, one more trip, so there will soon be a new story and travelblog!
If someone guesses where, they will get 1000 points - at least!
