From Spain to The Netherlands
Hi from Lopikerkapel. This is a small farming village in the Netherlands, near IJsselstein. The nearest major city is Utrecht. 4 years ago, they restored a large country house called 'Huis te Vliet', and they allowed the restorer to build 5 houses next to it. We were very fortunate to get to live in one of these houses.
There are 4 cats living with us. They are all Maine Coons, and they are a family. The oldest ones, Zairah (red) and Valdemar (beige), are siblings and 10 years old. 5 years ago, Nini became a part of our family. She shares the same father as the oldest cats. And 2 months ago, we welcomed Blue (grey). He is 5 months old, and Nini's sister is his mother.
Marta played with all our cats, and as you can see in the photos, she had a great time. We also took her on several walks. We walked along the river 'Lek', saw some lovely cows, and in one of the photos, you can see a tower with the famous radio tower on top. Every winter, they call it the largest Christmas tree in the Netherlands. It is beautifully lit up in December.
Marta also played with our 2 rabbits. There are many rabbits in animal shelters, and we always adopt ours from there.

Both rabbits are now 9 years old, and we got them 3 years ago. Not many people want to adopt older rabbits.
