The Feudal Lord of Odessa

The fact that a cat lives in one of the backyards of Odessa might seem like an entirely ordinary story – after all, who could be surprised by cats in the yard, especially in Odessa?

Yet, this cat is unusual, and once you meet him, believe me, you'll remember him for a long time.

He's a typical Odessa rogue, white and red in color, but with quite a gangster-like appearance.

And he goes by the name Feudal - as in feudal lord.

"Why does a seemingly ordinary cat have such a grand name?" you might ask, but his name is 100% a reflection of himself.

It's hard to say where this cat came from. In winter, he spends the entire day on the heating pipes, and in summer, he lounges in the sun in the courtyard flowerbed.

The feudal lord strolls around the yard every day at the same time, checking the basements and bushes, chasing away uninvited guests, and maintaining order.

He also oversees the courtyard's "cat cafeteria." In every Odessa yard, there's a special place where local residents bring homemade food for the feline community. The Feudal Lord's task is to ensure that every furry resident of the yard gets their share.

The feudal lord also looks after dogs that sometimes come to visit. With just a glance, he dampens their desire to bark or chase other cats.

In addition to dogs, he also restores order among the yard's cats, controlling potential disputes and occasionally stopping fights between them.

The feudal lord also regularly monitors order on his territory day after day. Rain or shine, the job must be done.

When you come home from work or just gaze out of the window, your eyes always involuntarily search for the "yard caretaker." And as soon as you look at his relaxed figure, you understand that your yard is protected, and everything will be fine.
